Tuesday, Thursday Job Club- This week students are introduced to Job Club Enterprises! Job Club Enterprises consists of the following:
1. Job Club Store- Students will rotate store manager positions, with store hours during the last 10 minutes of class. There will be 3 store managers at a time, giving each employee (student) the opportunity to hold that position
2. Job Club Bucks- In addition to the stipend employees receive, they will have the opportunity to earn Job Club Bucks that are redeemable only at the Job Club Store. Bucks can be earned for class participation, taking on job assignments, displaying leadership qualities and abiding by the “Standards and Expectations for the Workplace.”
3. Employee Handbook- Each employee will receive a handbook, outlining company policies and procedures in an effort to foster a safe and healthy work environment. Signed copies (employee and parent) are due next week.
4. Management Positions- All positions will rotate.
a. Human Resource Manager- keeps track of employee time sheets and distributes employee benefits (Job Club Bucks) as directed by Supervisor.
b. Communications Manager- distributes all handouts, quizzes, etc… Ensures all departments have proper supplies (pens and pencils on tables)
c. Store Managers- maintain inventory records, provide outstanding customer service and manage customer transactions.
Test on Student Flyer One & Two- Vocabulary and Concepts
Every student received a folder to keep track of their assignments at the beginning of the semester. Student Flyer One and Two can be found in the folders, along with a Review Sheet. The test will consist of the following:

Bank Account Register- students will be given transaction descriptions that must be recorded in the proper column (withdrawal/deposit), with balances updated after each transaction.
